Lumilys® is a reflective woven plastic textile which results in significantly better colouring of apples. 4–6 weeks before the harvest it is spread approx. 10 cm above the ground between the rows of trees. It is fixed using clips on the sheet and elastic binders around the tree trunks. It is resistant to mechanical stress and can be re-used again and again. UV-stabilised.
